HistoryEarly Days Norris Road State School is situated in Bracken Ridge, a northern suburb of Brisbane, Queensland. It was opened in 1977, at which time it consisted of two teaching blocks and an administration block. The library was housed in the administration building, occupying an area equal to two offices. Assemblies were held in the covered area between the admin block and C Block. D Block was the other teaching block. There was no oval, just an open paddock on the hillside. The western boundary of the grounds was sited near the present music block.
